going on 7 years now hopeign to have a family some day
just about every person that i know form my grandparents down has had some form of cancer exept me my sis and my maybe my dad

Hey i'm Ben and i'm 17 right now, i'll be 18 in december. i was first diagnosed when i was 9 months old. they discovered it becasue i suddenly developed black eyes. it turned out to be neuroblastoma and was in the orbits of my eyes and my femurs. i went through chemothereapy and enough radiation to give me a life times supply of sunlight. i live a normal life until the summer of when i was 15. i developed severe pain in my abdomen at night and went to the ER every single night for a week. they took some scans and i was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma. i went through more chemotherapy but was lucky enough to not need rads. a positive outlook and great support from family and friends have pulled me through. i'm currently getting yearly checkups and hoping everything stays good.
