Im ashamed that many non-Muslims ppl have taken the wrong image about us Saudi women...
Yesterday I was talking 2 a European friends that I’ve meet recently they were shocked when they knew that I was a Saudi girl and I’ve all this freedom, I tried 2 explain 2 them how we live…but they surprised me when they ask ”how could u get married without knowing the guy???” I said “well sure we have 2 get to know the guy b4 we marry him, that’s y we have engagement period to get know each other better? Then they gave me a second hard Q “if u r Saudi then u r Muslim and if u r Muslim then where is ur scarf ???”they asked. god in the first time in my life I felt ashamed of my self!!!!! I said “u r right and I know that’s wrong and I feel terrible about my self and maybe I did it cuz I’ve been missed guided, no 1 is perfect u knw ” did u know wat they’ve told me ..they said “every time we c a Muslim woman not wearing a scarf we feel that she is ashamed of her religion.!!! And that she is forced 2 wear it in her country and when she comes here she gets rid of it” then I started 2 defend my self and my religion and I tried 2 explain 2 them y most women wear scarf?? And I felt more ashamed cuz I supposed to tell my self that first!! not them they r not Muslims..
the first thing that I did after I left them I went to the mall and bought me a scarf and wear it and I felt so good about my self , good that I did the right thing … and I need from all the girls –Muslims girls- 2 be proud 2 be that u r Saudi Muslims ….and plz girl wear ur scarf it will save u from a lots of thing.. did u know that our country has the lowest percentage of violence and rape….i know we r not perfect but we all want 2 be…then y don’t we be perfect by staring with doin the right thing…





Ps: plz sing ur name under by sayin that U R PROUD 2 BE SAUDI MUSLIM…..2 show the world that u r proud

BTW u can wear ur scarf in a stylish way ;)
