Once again New Line Cinema has Officially Anounced the Official "date" For Freddy Vs Jason 2, estimated in For October 2007. The Movie is in Development Right Now !

Freddy and Jason are back for a rematch -- this time, another famous horror icon will be teaming up with Freddy.

The next battle between horror icons Freddy Krueger(Nightmare on Elm Street) and Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th) will feature a nemesis who may prove a match for them both; Sam Raimi's wisemouthed, egocentric Ash, from the "Evil Dead" series.

Some interesting news for you Nightmare On Elm Street and Friday the 13th fans coming in from Moviehole. It appears that we might get treated to a Freddy vs Jason 2 as early as next summer while Freddy vs Jason vs Ash gets worked on! Read on for details from this slowly developing story...



Moviehole talked a New Line source today who said that there's actually a couple of ideas floating about for the highly-anticipated "Freddy vs.Jason" sequel. One idea is the much talked-about "Freddy vs.Jason vs.Ash" template - which apparently is a bit of a beast to organize because of the different parties involved - and the other is a direct sequel to the first film, picking up where Freddy and Jason left off.

Freddy vs Jason vs Ash will be one of the greatest horror movies of all time, because the script shows that it understands the characters, the history of each backstory, the cliche's and most of all- the genre.

There is a new environment, which should quite interesting. The movie takes place around Christmas, so there's snow and ice and everyone is just so cheery!

There is a certain sequence that involved Ash, and the return of his cut off hand, which is by far one of the greatest ideas I've ever heard of !

Lastly, Kane Hodder as of right now will 100% NOT be returning as Jason- and Ronny Yu is almost confirmed to direct...
