Idaho and Wyoming lawmakers are planning to slaughter hundreds of wolves if the federal plan to remove federal protections for Northern Rockies wolves goes forward. As many as 2 out of 3 wolves in Wyoming could be targeted with unlimited killing in some areas of the state.
In Idaho, the state’s official position -- passed by the legislature -- is that wolves should be removed “by whatever means necessary.” Governor “Butch” Otter wants to kill 80 percent of his state’s wolves more than 500 wolves, and has gone so far as to say he wants to be one of the first to shoot a wolf himself. Some anti-wolf extremists have even launched a new ballot initiative to remove wolves from the state altogether.

Why should we care about wolves? They are not dogs, afterall.
That may be true, however, OUR dogs are part of wolves.
Everything we know about OUR domesticated dogs (psychology, behaviour, treatment, etc) was because of our studies on the wolves.
On top of that, wolves are needed to sustain a balanced ecosystem. Please show your support. :-)
Thank you.
