Muslim-Bangsamoro invention
New invention seen to reduce car-napping incidents
By: Inventor Ali Mambuay
Car and vehicle owners nationwide may no longer worry about being victimized by carnappers: an effective device that would identify and help catch perpetrators will soon be in popular use given necessary assistance from the government.
Known as “TRONICS POWER Hunter”, the device is a highly technological craft gadget with global coverage capability that provides security and protection to car, establishment and villages owners, against potential carnappers, robbers and carjackers, says Alisaiden “Tronix” B. Mambuay, a businessman from Marawi City in Mindanao.
Handy, cheaper and easy to install, the device is first of its kind and a modern gadget technology to protect cars, banks, and commercial establishments from carnapping and robbery electronically powered by communications system components like satellite, mobile phone, landlines and remote-control operations.
When installed in the car and other vehicle, it is linked to the mobile phone or allied equipment of owners’ choice that serves as monitor. When car engine is switched-on by the carnapper, the device calls the monitor immediately, the monitor phone can switch-off the car engine and can also identify the whereabouts of the stolen car, said Mambuay who is also director of the Manila Muslims Chamber of Commerce Inc.
Motor industry observers lauded Mambuay’s invention as a “breakthrough” in stopping the rampant incidents of car-napping worldwide especially in highly urbanized and industrialized cities.
Mambuay said that vehicle manufacturers can adopt the system as a built-in component or a vital accessory of the engine. It could also be useful to banks and commercial establishment and even private individuals owning luxury cars as it can be linked to nearby police stations or security posts at any given report of theft or car-napping incidents.
“Eventually, the device could help effect the arrest of wanted carnappers and carnapping syndicates,” he added. More information about the gadget can be obtained through Email add: tronicxspower@yahoo.com.ph and Website: www.ranaw.com
Mambuay’s invention was granted letters patent by the Intellectual Property Philippines of the Bureau of Patents which also granted him the exclusive right to make, use, sell or import the invention for a period of 20 years.
While he welcomed the move of the Technology Application and Promtion Institute (TAPI) to provide financial assistance in commercializing inventions of Filipino Muslim inventors from Mindanao, Mambuay said he prefers to go into mass production ventures with local or foreign investors as such set-up could ensure high returns of investment (ROI) with possible markets world-wide.
