the best part about manhattan is the theatre though....i love broadway...........but the best thing about the USA is that there is no limits to what you can do....If you make yourself marketable you can do anything

Actually, they don't make movies in Hollywood much anymore. They make them in Los angeles and out of state and country. New York or Pennslyvannia. They make more movies out of country. Hollywood is kinda dead of the film making industry.

yes. Because it is cheaper to film in another country. To film in USA is expensive because of the rules of filmmaking. You have to deal with unions. You can only have union workers. You have to have insurance for everything from lighting to toenails. The cities charge Millions to film. In other countires, no such worries.you can hire who you want to work for you. you can film for practicly nothing. It a sad sad state of filming affairs.

What i love about America? i love so many different things, the freedom to go where i want when i want without having to report to the govt, freedom of speech (which i think is slowly being taken away) freedom of religion. Especially the freedom to be ME. We Americans can dress the way we want to, just look at the way the kids are dressing now do you think they would get away with that overseas i think not. We Americans are not perfect, nor have we ever claimed to be.

I'm not sure if this is accurate but it's from my own personal experiences when visiting the US. I think people who live in the US are a bit more expressive about their opinions and feelings.

Customer service in the US is better as well! Every shop I walked into, the sales agent would come up to me and say something like "Hi Ma'm. How are you today? Are you looking for anything particular?" Actually that started to annoy me after a while! In the UK, you normally walk in and nobody speaks to you!

The choice of food is quite vast too. I visited NYC three times and was amazed at the ranges of food available depending on how much you wanted to pay.

The other thing I love about the US is the accent! It's great!

I do love the US and would consider working there temporarily. The only thing that puts me off about the US is the gun culture...

I can understand your feelings about the gun culture here. Since the U K and Aussies have lost all of their gun rights, but you must also remember that with out the guns this country never would have become what it is. It is our god given right to defend ourselves and families and homes and property.
I remember reading that a great leader once said that once our country has gun control and we remove all of the guns from the private sector, then we will be a wonderfull country of peace in our streets and safety in our country. That leader was Hitler. Look what happened after they took all the guns. Now the U K and Australia and other countrys are trying to do the same thing. It has gotten so bad that most of those people cant even own guns for their sport that they are in , in the olympics. such as skeet and tatget shooting . One Australian chapion shooter has to keep her guns in another country and go there to shoot and practice . It is not the guns that kill people, it is the fools with the guns. As it is now crooks can get anyguns they want, all you will do with gun laws and taking them away from the citizens will be to make them easier to be robbed and killed. As for me personaly, I will never give up my rights, and anyone whom has had a family member raped or killed, will know just what I mean. you can take mine when I am dead.

hmmmm...very interesting topic. i am in Arizona for almost 4 months now, and to be honest i like the people. They are nice, gentle and helpfull.

After one generation children are all american. What do you expect...they never had freedom before. Like you said it comes with a price. Part of that price is reposibility, respect for laws, and seeking change for the better as the founding father had envisioned.

Well the good thing i love in the USA is the freedom, respecting and honoring the right of almost every citizen of the United states. there is no absolute freedom but in the states people can do whatever things that will make them truly happy, physically and emotionally

Yes and our parents and their parents and so forth payed the price for us. It is now our watch.
