creative ideas for making an income

one idea that my sis told me about is that if your into photography and are very good, you can find stock photo cashes, who basically let you store photo's on their server, then when one of their clients needs say like a photo of someone holding a cigarette, and they pick yours out of several then you get a small commission. its a very small amount, but the more you have out there, the more trickles down to you.

That's a great idea. Thanks. I also found a site called cafepress.com. I set up a store with t-shirts and merchandise ( http://www.cafepress.com/swingbabyswing ) but I don't think I will be making alot at just one thing on line. I think the key to money on the net is multiple sources of income. I'll let you all know if I find anything else.

i do love your idea of this group; 'artists unite'
i have thought of a similar idea in the past.
to me the artist gives to the world another way of seeing things. without the artists the world would be a pretty boring place to live.
in my opinion the artists do not get recognized nearly enough.let alone be properly rewarded for their talents.
have you ever thought about making a web site and gather artists together on it. then promote the web site everywhere and anywhere.
a site where you can meet the artists, buy their work, etc.
you could even set up web cam interviews and presentations.
do some utube stuff. i have a connection to an online radio station that i'm sure would help in promoting this.
perhaps we can work together and get something done about this.
where great minds are gathered nothing but magic happens.

thats an interesting idea. actually there is a website called deviant art that does similar stuff like that. I have been building up this zorpia group from nothing because zorpia lets me have a nearly unlimited storage space and is already set up with members, forums, announcements, each member getting their own space and the freedom to design their sight how they like within certain guidelines, and create groups of similar interest. It truly is set up perfectly for me to bring artists together. and the best part is that it is free. cant beat that. I'm doing this so that as I become busy in my life, I won't let my passion for art die. this group forces me to actively pursue and engage in art. by the way, its a lot of work to make sure everyone else gets constant updates and reminders of whats going on and if you want to get involved i could sure use some help. :) cheers

Its really nice idea to unite artists together by making a website.i agree with you that most artists don't get enough recognition of their art work.artists are imaginary people lost in their world only.
