All you need to start off with is a half decent ball that isn't flat or too bouncey.
The primary thing is to learn to dribble without travelling, but the best thing to do is to first practise dribbling without stopping.
Use either hand individually and evenly.
Always pass with two hands (the ball will be intercepted less).
Learn to lay-up using your left and your right, evenly. ;)
Practise shooting first off by practising within 10ft of the basket. Shoot high, extending shoulder and elbow... and follow through.
But as the same with anything... PRACTISE! :D
You need any more help, you know where to find me. XD
Hehe, sorry! :P
Within in 10 feet, means just start by shooting close to the basket. Don't practise shooting from too far when you've only just started because you'll get a bad looking shot. ;)
