I am now working on a project for Borders (largest book retailer, for those who are unfamiliar) as a student consultant. Juicy part: I now have a 33% discount on books, and given my passion for reading... quite a good deal! )))
I recently went surfing to Puerto Rico, less than one month ago. getting Better & Better... this is probably The most free-spirited kind of sport... suits me perfectly... I spent a week with die-hard surfers, and I can say it is a different culture, different life style.... filled with freedom...

in a month I am going to Barcelona with my fiancee.... always dreamed about this day. keep my fingers crossed we both get visas (there are some reasons to worry)

so my life abroad is quite busy... and expensive.. but there are some things more important than money...

Hey guys and girls.. well i'm still in China for the time being.. gald you enjoyed it over here Dawn - and glad you had time to get out of the city centre.. I have to remind myself where i am at times it can be so westernised.
saying that, it looks like i'm going to be leaving soon.. end of contract is looming and new visa restrictions (for the 'opening' of teh olympics) means life's getting difficult for foreigners living here. maybe heading to japan, i hope. could do with a bit more money first though!
did you manage to get the visas for europe mark? i hope so, barcelona is an amazing place.. quite different from anywhere i've ever been.
anyway, i hope you're both well, and anyone else reading this.. sad to see so few checking in.. but i'm errant too!

cool ass that you even got to see the football while you where there! barcelona's a great place hey? all's ok ove rhere, but employers in japan want me to be already living there, or at least there for an interview.. so i am saving money now!
