what are we doing here?, what is our bout, can we understand anything, is life so complicated?, maybe we should choke on our despair!, we fight for freedom!, freedom from what?, freedom from ourselves?, have our teachers learned anything yet?, in an age where information passes so quickly, from east to west," why?", that we cant learn from our previous mistakes!. maybe its not a mistake, are we so predictable?.
where will we be in 100yrs time?, A smoking planet of blood!, Who knows", maybe with a gene of a sheep to make us warm?, a gene of a bird to help us fly?, a gene of a fish to help us breath under water?, a package of plants, to bare us a dinner every day!, an ocean current which is pumped!, a wind which is controlled, and directed, via plant situation on earth etc,etc,etc.
lightening which can be manufactured and controlled!, death, an age which can be bought, a happy gene for everyone!, and a brain which never forgets!,.. Space, like a trip to town,but you comeback before you go, to give yourself something you forgot!,(loop hole). an illness like an itch,
an excuse that actually works. And a language
that everybody understands.
a government that doesn't work, and a party that says they can do the same job in a different way,. Sorry!, we have this..
a place where old people feel loved, and not a burden, a place where everybody is treated the same, and health, is not an affordable luxury,
considering all the earths grains of sand, the earth and its solar system of sun moon and planets, is just a grain of sand, in the cosmoses, is their really a god?, or is he busy somewhere else, maybe he cant find us?, Can he really design such a complex place, then let so much bad s*it happen?, where a mother can hear its baby scream before it dies, A father watch his son jump to his death!, or a body be blown apart, where its leg is on one side of the street, its head on the other, and its body untraceable without d,n,a.
What is our bout?
Thank God for music,and friendship the only instrument of true friendship, which binds the world together in a common place, and no matter which type, or which language, we still find something good from it, an instrument in which we can express our thoughts and feelings without being afraid or ashamed. And in the world of myspace, Zorpia,and other similar sites,, their is no preconception of religion or color or status, gender or age, and the common goal is to become a friend, or be befriended and share thoughts and ideas, and since ive started myself, ive not meet a bad one, their is the odd fool looking for attention, but thats something we all seek deep down, maybe given the chance , we will solve the worlds problems our selves unknown to world leaders, they all want the same thing, but how many of them has a friends page?????. if we were all friends! would their be a war?????. when it stops sounding ridicules, it will become a reality... "maybe we should stop it before it goes to far"!!?. "What do you think?"
i have seen for myself,big and small bands like Monte Montgomery,republic of loose, Jackie Lawson, Phil Driscull, the corrs, strata, Enya, and snoopy doggy, to name but a few, some with up to half a million friends and over, take time out on a one to one to speak with friends with no agenda only to show they care, i know !. this must be good?, where else can this happen!,, my friends have extended to countries around the globe, some i speak with regularly, . " which one should i hate???" .... Would this be why, so many bands like Bono and bob geldof, madona,etc, are canvasing for world peace?, when they can see people from poorer countries, listening to stories in their music , "and sending them wishes", which touch their hearts, iam sure!,. and knowing they have more support around the world than any politicians can ever have, get up and do something!. In music i think we cant but strive to the same idea as those guys, "happy to know"!.
Did you know the rolling stones sold their Irish concert tickets in a matter of minutes, i wish i had one!!!!,. what politicians could do that?,, "who do you support"?,.
Every band has a mission statement or a story, in one way or another, for the world to see, some just don't know it yet, some do.
my greatest respect , is for those guys, whether starting out or established, who can touch the world in so many positive ways, whether knowing, or unknowingly, big or small, and to those who promote such ideas,.

Critical thinking is a lost art. As for all questions posed in forum consider this an attempt to affect change on multiple levels. Perhaps we should Quit looking so hard at others and spend a great deal more time examining ourselves from within and then working on improvements like more compassion, love, parience, kindness, charity, accountablity, moral character. Perhaps each time we feel inclined to negatively comment we should stop and critique ourselves. I am not saying that one cannot have a view and express it and even actively debate as that would be dismissive as to the power of idea exchange. Oh, now here is the kicker....the reason I believe Critical thinking is a lost art is really very simple. We have lost interest in all of the above and only show interest when these things actually suit our purpose. Perhaps you think me to be wrong, but then what fun would it be if we all agreed on everything.

we all have gone through such moments asking "why" certain things happen. The answer is evil. Abuse , rape, kill all of these are acts of evil. God is not "busy". He sees evil and knows who is evil. Why doesn't He do anything? It's because this is the earthly life .It will never be a perfect life no matter how much we wanted it to be so. Good people "choose" to be good and bad people "choose" to be bad.

i think as an artist..non assumed artists have this notion that God is on high...this is a fatle mistake..on a personnal level dealing with mental illness..its important to worship a god thats in the middle..moderate god..this is healthy even for a fit person...to be more descriptive..god is inbetween doubt and faith..doubt can be symbolized as the wombed foetus and faith symbolized as the birth of this baby..it takes a bit of working at and has taken me 20 years..if i was not mentally challenged it would take me less time but at least i really apprieciate the idea of the healing of the moderate god compatable with all religions + music + art etc...
