Any catch for price different?

I saw some stores in the net for the 40D price range from US 499-800+ just for the body. For the 499 it also states of US warranty. Are there any difference?

Hi William, just got back to my Zorpia world and noticed your message here. Well, I am unfamiliar with US Canon but 40D has been superceded by 50D though it still sells alongside with 50D, many dealers have already started clearing out their stock of 40D. Don't get me wrong, 40D is good as heaven but 50D does sport a higher pixel CMOS and a DigiIV processor :)
