Windows7 is promised to be the fastest ever Windows in startup and shut downing. Lets exclude that from teh list.

Wait till the end of the month an get Windows 7, I've been using it in work for over 2 months and it's way better then the crapy Vista SP2 I had in that machine before. Good riddance Vista!
So keep XP for your older PCs and get W7 for the new ones: Just forget Vista please.
