‘Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.’ – Hebrews 13:8
Just about everyone has some type of fear, worry or anxiety in their lives, even if it’s hidden and bottled up deep within them.
The good news is that YOU CAN BE FREE from fear, free from worry and free from anxiety! The way to this freedom is through the awesome power of God.
‘For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.’ – 2 Timothy 1:7

Just looking at this verse quickly shows us that if you do have some fear in your life, it is not from God! Also, we see that fear is actually a ‘spirit.’ But your loving Heavenly Father has given you a spirit of POWER, a spirit of LOVE and a SOUND MIND.
Through simply acknowledging and affirming that you DO NOT have a spirit of fear but that instead, God has given you a spirit of POWER, LOVE and a SOUND MIND…you will find your fears and worries beginning to dissolve.

Fears and worries will always TRY to implant themselves in your mind and in your spirit but you have the power and the God-given authority to resist them and to deal with them. James 4:7 says that if you resist the devil, he has to flee from you! He won’t just walk away…he will FLEE from you! Amen?
How do we resist the enemy and his weapons? Through believing, speaking and acting upon God’s Word in faith.
‘There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment.’ – 1 John 4:18

God IS Love, the Bible tells us and by thinking on His great love and by having the courage to love ourselves and demonstrate that divine, supernatural love to those around us, we will be putting into motion the very forces that will CAST OUT all fear.

The verse directly before the one I just quoted tells us that ‘As He is, so are we in this world.’ I remember when I first read that verse and realised what it was saying…As God IS, so am I in this world! Right here and right now, you and I are possessors of all that God is and all that God has. He is our Father and we are His beloved children. We are children of God, sons and daughters of God, heirs of God and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:17)! Nothing is impossible for us (Matthew 17:20) and we have been given the legal right to use the Name of Jesus to enforce our victory and success in life (John 14:12-14, Phil. 2:9-11)!

When you realise who you really are in God and Who God really is IN you, you will no longer tolerate negative situations and circumstances but you will use your God-given rights, authority and faith to STOP what needs to be stopped and START what needs to be started.

‘And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.’ – Matthew 16:19.
You can use your God-given authority to bind that spirit of fear and command it to loose its hold from you, just like Jesus said.

true. fear is from the devil while faith is of God. God surely wants to free us from fear and its dangerous power.
