SHE'S MY ANGEL

Words begin to fail me now,
But she never did.
She could always find me,
Even when I hid.
She knew what was wrong
Even when I wouldn?t tell
She could always pick me up,
When I fell.
She tried her hardest,
When I would quit.
She stood behind me
When others chose to sit
She gave me light
When my world was dim
She made me feel like the flower
When I thought I was only the stem
She pulled me through things
When I thought I was done.
She made me feel like a winner
Even if I hadn?t won.
She gave me strength
When I was weak
She was my voice
When I wouldn't speak
I always trusted her
Even when I didn't trust me.
When I felt locked down
She helped me feel free
When she got mad
Her love didn't change.
I never thought I'd be without her
This all feels so strange.
I remember when things got hard
And she would hold my hand.
She told me it was fine
And that she'd understand
I never thought she understood
But now I know I was wrong
She knew me better than anyone
And helped me stay strong
She will never be forgotten
She'll always remain in my heart,
With a love as strong as ours
We will never be apart
She always cared so much
Even about the little things
She was always my angel
But now she has wings
