I think its just like 15 years ago when the Belgians left Rwanda. They did not care about what would happen once they left. In fact they actually made something of it by putting one of the demographics in total control of the other. Even when they found out what was happening they couldn't be bothered to step in and help, it would cost money and time, which they didnt want to spend for something.
I Think this is a good example of how hypocritical the badass bush regime is. There are a few Desert countries in total chaos which are not so far from eachother and have been in a state of massive civil unbalance for much of the last decade or more. Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, and more.
Which desert country does the Bush administration invade, to "cleanse of terrorism"? I'll give you a hint: The one with Oil. While many thousands and thousands are killed in Africa, American soldiers seem to have made no real progress in Iraq even as tens of civillians there die every day. But at least something for the rest of the world: Oil prices are not so high on the rise any more.
