The light of life

The lake lays still in pale moolight,
Deep shadows dance and sway,
A fog rolls in to soften night,
Then a sprite comes out to play.

A tune dips soft and light,
Upon the breeze it floats,
Following a hauting melody,
With ancient history it toats.

All stop their motion,
All sound comes to an end,
All life seemes to pause,
All seems to but then.

Twirling to the beat,
A grace beyond compair,
A single sprite dipes and sways,
Until the forest's eyes turn to stare.

More appear from rock, tree, and water,
Colors deep and pale,
Dancing to the music's beat,
Even as moonlight starts to fail.

Joining hands as music speeds,
Their voices raised in song,
They light the magical path in life,
For those who have righted a wrong.
