Apart from the scare factor that a nuclear power station might blow up (accidentally or on purpose) they are not as "GREEN" as the supporters make out.

NO ONE seems to care about the places where the uranium ore is mined. It is quite a rare element, and TONNES of rock need to be crushed to find a gram or two of Uranium. AND it is getting rarer and rarer as it is used up. Just like oil uranium is not limitless. It has probably reached it's half way point of no return.
