Happiness there!!
True happiness was always controversial the day when Man and Women were removed out of the GARDEN of EDEN .To be happy to be first place to have life and health 'Word'LIFE' means the existence and right to existence ,together with all other related to it.No escape from disease no one enjoys a perfect health ,of a complete happiness.Live and Happiness is the greatest of blessings with which God endowed me.
Honore de Balzac said;"Happiness has the misfortune to look something absolutely",and i thingk Happiness con touch with hand,the is much controversy about happiness.
Which he considered a mood of edless joy,excitement,reconciliation,so then we can consider her happiness is at our feet like a flower of the field should not we bent down to pick one!!But as it is surrounded by other flowers cheat,scent,color,and hand stretch too for!....HAPPINESS!!!!....NUTY!!!

Lovely topic really, thank you for taking it up and inviting me in here! But referring to the subject-line I'd rather say "Happiness Here!" Let me explain here later why - and it is my own point of view in this...
The whole concept of Happiness is quite airy and it can even mean different thing to different persons at different times. The always interesting Wikipedia defines Happiness as "Happiness is a state of mind or feeling characterized by contentment, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy. A variety of philosophical, religious, psychological and biological approaches have striven to define happiness and identify its sources." - see more in: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happiness
What I have learned and experienced during the years is, that for many the Happiness seems to be always "there", somewhere far away - "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence". I agree very much with the wise words of Mr. Honore de Balzac about absolutism and also that there is always some nuisances and obstacles in the life compromising the "complete happiness". But then, if there was such "complete happiness", it would destroy itself, as the human nature is such that such "Happiness" would very soon become boring or at least loose the value it once had...
In the tradition of my homeland there is an old saying: "a carpet always needs also some black stripes", meaning about that the non-perfect things are very much needed also for us to be able to give perspective and value to the other things. And this leads to what I meant with the "Happiness Here" in the beginning of this comment - I could say even that the Happiness is a state of mind and one can almost just decide to be happy or not! One can always be unhappy and complain of everything - or, decide to see the things positively and think and talk always only the constructive, "happy" way in each situation. Even the richest person living in abundance of everything thinkable can be desperately unhappy and in fact often the poorest of us in the humblest surroundings can be among the happiest ones...
Of cause I agree also that some very basic needs in the life like surviving, health and such must be reasonably well guaranteed to be able to lead a happy life, but when these basic needs are met to some acceptable level, then I believe it's much up to oneself to be able to see the Happiness here and now.

Each and everyone of us has his/her own point of view of what HAPPINESS is. each is entitled to have his/her own perception of what happiness is. Happiness could mean free from sickness(physical and mental)..free from problems...it could mean being loved...could mean free from wars and destruction and etc. Happiness is..having inner peace.... being at peace with yourself and at peace with others.!!

Very wise words Edna, I fully agree to all what You said and I'm especially happy (sic!) for the last sentence in Your comment: "Happiness is..having inner peace.... being at peace with yourself and at peace with others.!!" - it's so very true and in a way sounds to be a simple thing but so very difficult to achieve...
