THE BEST OF THE PHILIPPINES

Philippines, The Pearl of the Orient Seas, is a country of rich tropical archipelago composed of 7,107 islands stretching in the western pacific ocean. It is officially known as the Republic of the Philippines. It is situated about 700 miles (1,130 km) east of the Indochinese peninsula. The Philippines has a total land area of approximately 300,000 square kilometers (116,000 square miles). It borders the Philippine Sea on the east, the South China Sea on the west, and the Celebes Sea on the south. The island of Borneo is located a few hundred kilometers southwest, and Taiwan is located directly to the north. The Moluccas and Sulawesi are located to the south-southwest, and Palau is located to the east of the islands.
The Philippines is divided into three island groups: Luzon (Regions I to V, NCR and CAR), Visayas (VI to VIII), and Mindanao (IX to XIII and ARMM). Manila, on Luzon, is the capital city and the second largest city after Quezon City.

very nice pictures of lunch on the river in Bohol. If you have the time experiance this. Having your lunch on a boot. Enjoying the view, seeing the kids jumping in the water and trying to earn some money.
And when you had your lunch and joy on the river, you go and see the tarsier, the smallest monkey in the world. Let him sit on your hand and take a picture.
And when you have time to visit choclate hills and a small animal farm where they have a pyton. It was enjoyable to have comment from a person who tries to speak in the language of the visitors, wherever they come from

POLITICS AND GOVERNMENT
The Philippines has a presidential, unitary form of government (with some modification; there is one autonomous region largely free from the national government), where the President functions as both head of state and head of government and is commander-in-chief of the armed forces. The president is elected by popular vote to a single six-year term, during which time she or he appoints and presides over the cabinet.
The bicameral Congress is composed of a Senate, serving as the upper house whose members are elected to a six-year term, and a House of Representatives serving as the lower house, whose members are elected to a three-year term, and are elected from both legislative districts, and through sectoral representation.
The judicial power is vested in the Supreme Court, composed of a Chief Justice as its presiding officer, and fourteen associate justices, all appointed by the Philippine President from nominations submitted by the Judicial and Bar Council.

The Philippines is full of potential tourist destinations. Across our islands lie pristine white beaches, warm and clear dive sites, scenic seascapes, challenging surf sites, beautiful mountains, magnificent waterfalls, hot and cold springs, and all kinds of natural jewels in a tropical setting.

CAPITAL : MANILA
The Philippines is a country of 7,107 vibrant and colourful islands, all pulsating with life and teeming with flavour. Yet, it is in Manila where you can hear its heart beating the loudest! Manila is asophisticated capital - the seat of power, centre of trade and industry, commerce, education, entertainment and the arts. It is an invigorating blend of some of the country’s oldest and richest heritage treasures, and the most modern metropolitan features of the Philippine landscape.

VICKY, thanks for promoting our country, I am a Filipino, an Ilocano tribe. I am residing in Davao City with my family. I came from the north Philippines in the Province of Ilocos Norte. I had been in the south Philipines for more than 3 dacades now. I agree with you, Philippines is one of the most beautiful countries in Asia. This will become more progressive if our leaders in the government will think for the country's best economic development. We are rich in natural resources should capitalize this for a better Philippines in terms of socio-political economy influence to other nations. Mabuhay ka. Pagbutihin mo at palawigin mo ang pag promote ng ating bansa sa boung mundo. Patnubayan ka ng Dios.

Its nice to visit Eden also. High in the mountan. Its a place to visit nature, hydro culture and also a place to stay. It has houses for rent and trail tracks for mountan bicking or just walks.
We you have walked enough you go to the Waterfront insular hotel or to stay in this luxourious hotel or book your stay on the pearl farm. The boot leaves from the hotel and after 1 hour you end up to be in heaven. Its the place to rest, enjoy the sea or swimming pool. If you like you go for some karaoke to the bar overlooking the sea at night time.
enjoy relaxing

If i am right thats the Marco Polo hotel. A nice place to be. When you take a room at the 4th floor at the pool site you have your privat exit to a small terras belongging to the room and you can go directly to the swimming pool.
Outside the hotel you have across the street a place of small shops for t-shirts and all kind of dresses. Very nice for gifts or take home

Its a nice place and peacefull in the buzy City of Manila. You can see the golf cours from the walls of the fortress.
Its impressive to visit the house Jose Risal spend his last days before he was executed by the Spanish.
When you have time go to Dipolog, near Dakak you find the place Risal lived. Its now a monumentual area.
The house in this area was used for fil shooting in the tagalog movie Jose Risal

Be hopeful. Map out a plan, you can come there. We're neighbors in Asia.
Your english is good :-)
I hope you can see the Mt. Pinatubo Crater Lake. It is sooooo beautiful. I stayed 1 week there and I can't get enough :))
I come there not just for recreation. I feel the glow and the nourishment of my skin when I stayed there for a week. The minerals maybe. It could be healthful.

and you can enjoy Manila's best. It never sleeps at night. Beautiful !
