Something for the short story writers out there, over on the official poetry and stories website there is a never ending story been started. The idea you read through the story so far, then add to it yourself, just one paragraph. Then another member comes along and adds another paragraph onto yours. Keeps going like this till we get bored with the story and start another one :P

He
slammed the empty glass down hard on the oak table, the supporting legs
wobbling under the sudden impact. With barely time to breath another
full glass was in this bearded strangers hand. The gathered crowd
heckled him and cheered for his determined opponent, Connor, the local
ladies man with a build so small you'd think he'd have trouble holding
in one pint. Yet without hesitation he gestured towards the curvy
figure of Eileen for number 6 to be brought over, and promptly tipped
his head back and poured the contents as if fuel into a car.
