A Doomsday Rhyme

"You who claim to see it all
Gaze into the crystal ball
Tell me what the stars foretell?
Will this planet go to hell?
Will polar ice caps melt and flood
Or will we drown in terror and blood?
Will the sun consume itself?
Will ozone layer heal itself?
Will food and water become rare?
Will we always have fresh air?
Will earthquakes tear asunder?
Will we poach,pillage and plunder?
Shrink forests,develop cities
In blunder after blunder?"
"It needs not an oracle's gaze
To see into the cosmic maze
Clouded is the planet's fate
in toxic fumes ,industrial waste
The lucid past is bygone
Tiger,lion,leopard:almost gone
Woebegone seems the ulterior future
First kill nature,then each other
Unless we slow down here,today
We shall collide into doomsday"

this is so so good...apart from the meaning, its so well written...oracle gaze and good recllection of the images that is just waiting for the doomsday....some full of questions..and then a lot of answers...and a sugesstion too..(i can think of some WWF ad from this) he he..i liked it

Uterior Future
Step away from the things of future possibility
Remove yourself from the pernicious past no more
NO, This minute only as the die has been cast
Begone are the ulterior future,
Bygone the lucid past as it crumbles to dust
War machines and computers decompose and rust
The Future is NOW so therefore NO more
The Past erased daily existing now only in the old
Though we scoff at their wisdom and knowledge they hold
The Winds of change promised no longer will blow
Tainted men and women destroyed, now reap what they sowed
All Religion is hollowed and its destruction complete
Lays in Tattered burnt pages blown through empty streets
The Peace once foretold pulluted with twisted hate
We all Bleed Red and share the same violent fate
What future? What past? No one left to tell
So many were deluded and believed their own Lies
Last Breaths Taken, as White ash falls from bloodred skies
Your God, My God, no matter, as here time stands still
No Past, No future as humanity rejoices in its own kill
Are you proud of yourself? Are you glad you were right?
Are you happy and enlightened
Are you satisfied, deeply satisfied......
On this the last day of humanity's will

it moves a monstrous ship
like droplets in the ocean
but where the droplet sits

Are we torn then, by time?
caught between yelling "begone
the ulterior future"
wanting to relish spinning dime
flung toward the gutter
of incipient decay and sweet wine
where never we may see our hold
never see our dearest mold
never enclose our being
into the void between the lines
manifold spun like cyclone
taking us out beyond a reach
toward infinity chasing birth
particles flung to the ends
of universe and never catching light.
Caught at the moment of now
impossibilities where my river moved
my mountain never existed
my net never caught the draught
and the seed blossom hung full
caught between my breath
and the heart beat rhythm
the licorice of age marred eyes
the chant of bell ring
between eye lash drift
falling upon cheek and sleep
and eternal spark of being, now.
Caught looking toward all the bygone
lucid past, etched like worm casings
enclosed forever in lime,
see me here, the saber tiger bite,
see me here, the juniper seed,
see me here, oh, fossilized stage
upon a far bitter growth
ages and ages of change and alteration
growing a tail, a wall,
an inner, a power plant,
a glorious network of cells
