Here's a song I just wrote about a girl who was abused by a stranger, and is trying to forget about it but she can't, because her parents are a constant reminder by not letting her get out into the world- they're afraid incase it happens again...

But how will they know,

Unless they let her follow, her path,

To the next chapter in her book called "life"

She needs to live her life......



She's a prisoner of her own past,

She wishes that it won't last,

Why won't her parents let her forget

She's stronger than what they believe

If they carry on like this she will leave

Live on , move on, on her own...

Make them see that she has grown
