No me sorprende que este libro sacrílego, que niega la divinidad de Cristo, sea popular entre los enemigos de Jesucristo. Pero, ¿Entre los cristianos, tanto católicos como protestanes? ¿Como es posible? La única explicación que encuentro es que una gran cantidad de cristianos no conocen ni siquiera los fundamentos de la fe o no les importa. Juan Pablo II nos advirtió de "una apostasía silenciosa por parte del hombre autosuficiente que vive como si Dios no existiera" (13 Julio, 03). Esa apostasía ya alcanza gigantescas proporciones. La cultura sin valores a la que estamos expuestos, si no es contrarestada con una práctica asidua de la fe, termina debilitando gravemente al cristiano. Sin claridad doctrinal no se puede discernir entre la verdad y la perversa falsificación.

Alguno objetará: ¿Pero, acaso no es ficción?
-Aunque el libro se cataloga como ficción, el actor lo presenta como si fuese el resultado de una minuciosa investigación. Tras inventar toda una fabulosa trama de mentiras y sacrilegios absurdos crea un Evangelio falso. Al mismo tiempo declara que la Iglesia "inventó" la fe católica. Estas mentiras, al repetirse con tanta frecuencia, se van aceptando.

Según la novela, los Evangelios no deben leerse en sentido literal, ni transmiten verdad sobre los sucesos que relatan. Pero al mismo tiempo dice que los mismos Evangelios transmiten en código que los primeros cristianos consideraban a María Magdalena como diosa. De esta manera solo se podría aceptar del Evangelio lo que el autor pretende haber descubierto en ellos pero que nadie mas puede verificar con una lectura objetiva. Para apoyar sus fantasías utiliza libros sin ninguna seriedad histórica, tales como "La Revelación de los Templarios", "El enigma sagrado", "Las diosa en los evangelios" y "The Woman With the Alabaster Jar". El resultado es una falsificación de la historia, de la teología y del arte basada en teorías conspiratorias sin fundamento. No vende por ser bueno sino por presentar un falso cristianismo que es atractivo a la mentalidad pagana contemporánea.

Es de lamentar que, para muchos, la verdad no interesa porque compromete a cambiar la vida. A estos se les debe recordar que quien se cierra a la verdad y continúa poniendo el oído a la mentira que ya ha sido descubierta, se hace cómplice de ella. Así ocurrió con Adán y Eva. Ya sabemos las consecuencias. Por eso es importante que quienes amamos a Jesucristo estemos preparados para dar razón de nuestra fe. Históricamente, los ataques contra la doctrina han resultado en una profundización por parte de la Iglesia de la doctrina ortodoxa. Estamos ante una nueva oportunidad de evangelizar.

- Although the book is classified as fiction, the actor presents it as if was the result of a meticulous investigation. After inventing an entire fabulous plot of lies and absurd sacrileges he/she believes a false Gospel. At the same time he/she declares that the Church "it invented" the Catholic faith. These lies, when repeating with so much frequency, leave accepting.

According to the novel, the Gospels should not be read in literal sense, neither they transmit truth on the events that you/they relate. But at the same time he/she says that the same Gospels transmit in code that the first Christian considered María Magdalena like goddess. This alone way you could accept of the Gospel what the author seeks to have discovered in them but that nobody but it can verify with an objective reading. The result is a falsification of the history, of the theology and of the art based on theories conspiratorias without foundation. He/she doesn't sell to be good but to present a false Christianity that is attractive to the contemporary pagan mentality.

It is of complaining that, for many, the truth doesn't interest because it commits to change the life. To these it should be remembered that who he/she closes to the truth and it continues putting the hearing to the lie that has been already discovered, accomplice of her it is made. It happened this way with Adam and Eva. We already know the consequences. For that reason it is important that who love Jesus Christ we are prepared to agree with. Historically, the attacks against the doctrine have been in a profundización on the part of the Church of the orthodox doctrine. We are before a new opportunity of evangelizing.
