Bet none of u know PJ Powers and Hotline cos u all too young. Is Jaluka still going? Old skool!!
My friend who sang with Hotline George Van Dyk is living over in Miami now. We still keep in touch.
The only thing we hear in UK from SA is the national anthem at the rugby.

Penny. Yes we use to go to parties many years ago with her.
So Jakuka is not still going?
You are very young. I was 14 when I came to Joburg in 1976. I remember all the Soweto riots when I was walking home from skool.
My mom in law sent me some You mags when my son went back this year. I havent had time to look at all of them yet but they use to be much more SA and not so world wide. Always interesting to catch up with what is going on in SA. I miss it so much.
My son went down to Stilbaai to his Gran when he was there and did some whale watching. He is 17. Older than u. But the kids over here do as they please. There is no disapline in UK. I think he will be coming back to his Dad very soon.

One of my most favorite songs is;
Like a rock - Bob Seger
or
One last kiss - Can't remember the band now
or
Start me up - The Rolling Stones
or
White flag - Dido
The latter has a very speacial meaning to me. It will always remind me of a readhead that I would love to meet in person.
