Love is a discipline in the sense that it in itself is complete. We have cheapened the word and therefore the meaning. Even in Websters Dictionary I disagree with the meaning as i believe love is a decision to act a certain way towards another. It is possible to dislike things someone does and still love them. Example a parents love of their children even when their children disappoint or make bad decisions or say hateful things. Too many people in this world say i love you way to easily. thats why divorce is up and single moms wonder why their husbands left. No one is taking it seriously. We have become a microwave society. Everything is fast fast fast...why not marriage and committment. just get a new one if this ones to hard. It takes work and discipline to Love someone. if we continue with the whole FEELINGS thought process we doom ourselves for disappontment after disappointment because no one will ever measure up and we always leave ourselves a way out if Love is simply a feeling. I for one will chose to honor my committments and maintain my disciplines.
